My husband and I bought the farm in 1992 and knew right away that it was meant to be shared. It's such a beautiful place it only seemed natural and right! We have been working full time to renovate and build a very special conference center and retreat since then. We wanted to create a healing place, far from the city traffic and jangling phones: a place that rejuvenates and restores. Our guests say that they feel as if they have entered a different world the moment they turn into our drive. Our dream has always been to build a healthy community where people have control over their own lives.
I love this place. I don't get bored and especially enjoy learning how to do new things like landscaping and building -- every task around here could be a lifetime vocation! It's exciting never knowing who will walk through the door and so rewarding to befriend our guests. We look forward to welcoming you.
Carpenter Inn is deep in the country, but easy to find.
